Metro launches new newspaper format with a giant paper boat
The Paris edition of the daily newspaper "Metro" created a giant paper boat to announce the arrival of a new, slicker format. When folded and tucked in all the right places the boat was then marched down to the banks of the Seine where it was launched and, thankfully, floated.

MINI creates Thrill Bench to promote JWC Countryman
A special vibrating bench was installed by the side of a road, and when anyone sat on the bench a MINI would sneak up behind them and rev the engine, which caused the seat to vibrate to promote the new JWC Countryman

Book-burning party to save library!
After years of tireless campaigning to save the much loved local landmark the fate of the library fell to a vote on a tax increase. If residents were to say yes to higher tax then the library would be saved. Yet, the suggestion of a tax increase turned the focus away from the books and to anti-tax politics.

Locker shocker in German Metro promotes audiobook
A German company placed a pair of prosthetic legs in lockers at two busy subway stations in Berlin and Frankfurt. To make sure the locker was opened by as many people as possible all other lockers were hired by the company so the "Locker-Shocker" was the only one vacant.
