Zantac and Because Creative Experiences teamed up to make sure edible hot dogs aren’t the only treat fans will be enjoying at the Manly Sea Eagles vs Knights NRL match.

We were presented with the challenge of creating an on-field activation during the half time match, a concept that would bring Zantac’s foremost message alive – how the product can reduce the signs of heartburn.

We created an entertaining yet educational on field activation, which got the whole crowd talking and engaging. Two fans dressed up as super hero hot dogs and competed in an on field obstacle race next to the team mascots. The fun challenge demonstrated that heartburn doesn’t need to hold them back from eating their favourite foods.

The challenge was streamed live on the large screen and included a commentator, dramatic music and much fan encouragement. The winner of the race received a dining experience for them and their mates. And banter (ribbing) for life with a team photo of them dressed up as a hotdogs, with the mascots.
