Grace is an award-winning Senior Account Manager whose energy and enthusiasm are only matched by her singing and social skills. Here’s what you need to know about Grace Piddock.
Adventurous foodie. Office Singer. Agony aunt. Grace wears many hats and has many skills, but it’s her charisma, talent, and pure, unbridled enthusiasm that has won the hearts of her teammates and clients in the past. Thankfully, now the Because team in the UK gets to share and revel in this high-energy happiness and occasional office soundtrack.
Grace has worked for several prominent advertising and marketing firms and has managed accounts across a variety of different industries. She’s also been an integral part of teams that won gold and silver at the CMA Awards in 2017. Her working mantra: she loves bringing brands and people together in creative ways and putting smiles on faces as a result. She’s probably singing when she does it, as most of the time she doesn’t even know she’s doing it!
When Grace isn’t planning content, wrangling deadlines, or solving clients’ challenges, you can find her exploring her home city’s culinary offering with her friends. In her words, she’s a foodie at heart and loves eating her way around London’s restaurants.
We wanted to uncover a little more about our brand-new Senior Account Manager, so we asked her our five critical get-to-know-you questions.
1. WHICH CAMPAIGN IN YOUR CAREER ARE YOU MOST PROUD TO HAVE WORKED ON?
I delivered an incentive campaign for Virgin Media, where we worked with Mr. Motivator to create content and help get everyone motivated, believe it or not! It was the first large-scale campaign I managed and successfully delivered, so it will always be one to remember, especially as I got to work with the icon that is Mr. Motivator!
2. WHICH PERSON, DEAD OR ALIVE, WOULD YOU LOVE TO HAVE DINNER WITH?
Oprah Winfrey. I bet she’s got some great stories to tell and names to drop into conversation.
3. WHAT SHOW ARE YOU CURRENTLY BINGEING ON NETFLIX? AND WHAT MAKES IT SO ‘BINGEABLE’?
It’s not on Netflix, but I am obsessed with Below Deck; it’s my guilty pleasure at the moment! The dysfunctional crew and obnoxious guests make for loads of drama; I mean, what’s not to love!
4. What’s your go-to drink? And why?
It has to be rosé for me. It reminds me of summer, it’s easy to share a bottle with friends, and it tastes great ?
5. Name one thing on your bucket list.
I would love to do more travelling and see new places. The craziness of the past year and a half hasn’t helped but I can’t wait to get back out and explore the world.
