Because and World Vision bring Bangladesh to Auckland this June and July

Bangladesh is coming to Auckland this June and July thanks to World Vision’s all-new experiential story-telling installation.

Created and produced by World Vision New Zealand and Because Creative Experiences, Journey of Hope allows Kiwis to step into the life of 10-year-old Munni and her family, the first-of-its-kind walk-through experience will give Sylvia Park shoppers the chance to see and experience, first-hand, the heart of World Vision’s work.

Through augmented reality technology and sensory immersion, the pop-up installation showcases what life in one of the poorest parts of rural Bangladesh is like for Munni and her family, including where they cook, eat, sleep and play. It will also show the challenges they face and those they’ve overcome.

Munni has been sponsored through World Vision’s Child Sponsorship programme for the past four years, and over this time she has experienced significant changes – like being able to attend school – and Journey of Hope brings this to life for Kiwis.

Journey of Hope is on at Sylvia Park, The Cone from 4 – 30 June and then at Lynmall from 1 – 28 July.
